Alecto was one of the three Furies in Greek Mythology. Her Job as a Fury is castigating the moral crimes (such as anger) of humans, especially if they are against others.
She is the sister of Tisiphone, punisher of murderers, and Megaera, punisher of infidelity, oath breakers, and theft.
